Association Awards

The TFA offers three awards each year, The TMU Person of the Year, Distinguished Service Award and Career Achievement Award. The most recent recipients are given below. For more information about eligibility and criteria for each award scroll down.

TMU Person of the Year Information

The TMU Person of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the TMU Community in the previous academic year. The contribution(s) may include, but are not restricted to: something that will benefit the Ryerson Community overtime, volunteer commitment within TMU or the broader community that demonstrates an admirable balance of career and good citizenship, or exemplary handling of duties associated with any office held. Distinguished Service Award Information

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding service to the Toronto Metropolitan Faculty Association including, but not limited to: volunteer commitments, sustained contributions over time, exemplary handling of duties associated with an office held, or contributions over and above those expected of office held.
